New consumer price index inflation report will come out April 10,2024. An update on US economic news! Inflation is still seen at the grocery store, restaurant food, insurance coverages, and other areas of the economy. The consumer is dealing with high expenses now just with grocery store prices. Sales for things called discretionary items usually suffer when day to day necessities are more expensive in price than before. With two wars ongoing in Israel/Gaza and USSR/Ukraine in addition to higher interest rates on home loans, the economical situation is not looking too great for this month.

In February, the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers increased 0.4 percent, seasonally adjusted, and rose 3.2 percent over the last 12 months, not seasonally adjusted. The index for all items less food and energy increased 0.4 percent in February (SA); up 3.8 percent over the year (NSA).
