US STEEL, the largest steel producer in the US received an offer to be bought by rival Cleveland-Cliffs valued at $7.3 Billion Dollars,  and it was rejected.  It then received an offer (all cash) to be bought out by Esmark (an industrial conglomerate) for $7.8 Billion Dollars.
