Carbon Dioxide Storage underground is just the reversal of hydraulic fracking theoretically. Instead of taking natural gas or oil from underground with a drilling operation, it is putting pure carbon dioxide back underground below shale in a state between liquid and gas called “supercritical” and stored permanently underground to reduce CO2 which has been causing climate change.
