Europe is close to the Ukraine conflict and would naturally feel an urgency to protect themselves and that has translated to countries replenishing armaments and buying more.  Companies experiencing new growth in sales are BAE Systems PLC which makes the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, The M777 Howitzer, the Challenger 2 Tank, and is involved with making the Typhon Jet Fighter.  Charles Woodburn, BAE Chief Executive noted that most of the companies orders were related to longer term projects such as submarines and naval ships.  He also mentioned the threat in Europe is acute and the need for new equipment is occurring.  These statement were released in a statement accompanying the companies’ earning. 

Other Euro Defense Companies to look at are SAAB (Sweden) which designed the NLAW Antitank Weapon and expects double digit sales.
